1. Summary – This person is responsible to assist the Superintendent in organization, planning and daily operation of the Superintendent’s office. This is an 8-hour, 12 month position.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma.  Additional related coursework or college training is preferred. 

 

Five years of business, agency or any school system office related secretarial work is preferred.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

A valid driver’s license is preferred.

 

Language Skills

Must is able to communicate orally and in writing effectively to a diverse general public.

 

Mathematical Skills

Must have general math skills with ability to manage a budget.

 

Reasoning Ability

  Ability to work effectively with others in all situations as well as must exhibit independent decision making skills.

 

Computer Skills

Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office software products.  Must be able to operate all office machinery.

 

Other Skills and Abilities

 Knowledge of the school system and the demographics of the County. 

 

Other Qualifications

            Position requires exceptional confidentiality skills with ability to determine what           information is confidential in nature.
