SUMMARY:

The Deputy Superintendent provides leadership to the instructional functions of the school system. This includes the planning, coordination, and supervision of instruction, curriculum, assessment, professional development, and compliance with state and federal programs. This position supports the implementation of the Maryland Blueprint for Schools and works closely with the Superintendent and other district leaders to advance student achievement and operational excellence.
